Permanent Physical Therapist Assistant
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide quality rehabilitation services under the direction of a Physical Therapist and help patients improve mobility, strength, function, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities.
- Assist patients with transfers, ambulation, and safe movement.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility techniques.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and clinical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current PTA license as required by the state.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous clinical, rehabilitation, or healthcare experience preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and patient-care skills.
