Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate School Social Workers and Counselors for full-time contract positions supporting K–12 students through Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for the 2026–2027 school year.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate data and recommend intervention modifications or strategy implementations to building teams.
Design and implement tiered interventions, consulting with general and special education teachers.
Provide case management, individual, and group intervention services for students and families.
Participate in student support team meetings, MTSS meetings, and parent conferences.
Utilize research-based, data-driven behavior management techniques and maintain required documentation.
Qualifications & Licensing Requirements
Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or Counseling from an accredited university.
Licensure: Active full licensure by the State of Michigan (LMSW or LPC).
Limited License (LLMSW / LLPC) candidates will be considered with the expectation of obtaining full licensure.
MDE SW Approval preferred where applicable.
Experience: Previous social work or counseling experience in a public school setting or related agency preferred, alongside experience working with collaborative teams.
Requirements: Candidates must be comfortable working 100% onsite.
