Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services per the established plan of care for patients in an acute care context within a skilled nursing facility.
- Implement therapeutic activities and adaptive strategies to improve functional mobility and independence in daily tasks.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility as appropriate, promoting safety and independence.
- Document treatment sessions, progress toward goals, and any changes to the plan of care in a timely, accurate manner.
- Collaborate with therapy team, nursing staff, and other colleagues to ensure coordinated patient care and safety.

Requirements
- Active California license/certification to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
- 1 year of relevant acute care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
- Ability to work 08:00–16:30 on a 5x8 day schedule; comfortable in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; commitment to patient safety and accurate documentation.
