Innovated Early Childhood Daycare/Preschool is currently accepting applications for monolingual and bilingual (English/Spanish) Teacher Assistants.

Applicants should be nurturing, enthusiastic, creative, patient and understanding of the needs and developmental stages of children.

We are seeking experienced early-childhood professionals with positive energy. Must be available Monday through Friday from 1pm to 7pm

Assistant Responsibilities:

• Supporting the teacher in ensuring effective student learning
• Co-supervising students in both structured & unstructured settings
• Assisting in specific students at the direction of the teacher
• Collaborating with the teacher on instructional and assessment planning and analysis
• Collaborating with parents to keep them up to date with daily routine of students
• Completing a variety of classroom clerical tasks

Qualifications for Teacher   Assistant:

• TA Certification (required but not required to start)
• Experience with a center-based childcare center and the personality to be very effective with young children and the ability to communicate clearly with parents and team.
• Experience working in a special education program a plus
• Customer Service Skills

Teacher's Assistant Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
• Mandated Reporter
• SIDS, Shaken Baby, Abusive Head Trauma, Infection Disease, Family Engagement, etc.
• CPR First Aide Certified
• Fingerprints by DOE and DOH
• Clearance from Office of Family and Children Services, etc.
