Mid-level Systems Engineer

Salary: $100,000 - 125,000 per year Requirements:

• We need someone who can obtain and keep a Secret clearance, including passing credit, fingerprint, and law-enforcement checks.
• We require at least 4 years of experience supporting Program Executive Office and/or Major Systems Acquisition Programs in a systems engineering role.
• We require a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related STEM field.
• We need the ability to work effectively with senior management.
• We expect the ability to identify improvements to current and future team operations and processes.
• We need strong research, data collection, and synthesis skills.
• We expect the ability to present findings and recommendations to leadership.
• We need experience preparing summaries, analyses, reports, charts, graphs, instructions, memoranda, and reference materials for benchmarking or ad hoc reporting.
• We require strong planning and organizational skills.
• We need excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• We require the ability to work in a hybrid office setting at the clients discretion, including on-site work when requested.

• We will rely on you to prepare IT documentation, block diagrams, and logic flowcharts based on your prior experience.
• We will have you create sample developmental test data and review test outcomes to support product development and debugging.
• We will expect you to maintain system requirements and configuration documentation.
• We will have you assess vendor capabilities, products, and IT services to support the transition from STEPP to CSOD.
• We will look to you to recommend development approaches, action plans, and IT roadmaps that guide the STEPP-to-CSOD transition.
• We will have you partner with hardware design engineers to address machine characteristics that influence software and database systems and resolve compatibility issues.
• We will ask you to support the creation of operational requirements documentation and requirements traceability matrices so operational needs translate into technical requirements.
