Campus Ambassador

Plume is a new app for meeting the people you cross paths with in real life. The barista. The girl on the train. The guy at the gym. The ones you almost said hi to. It works simply: when two people come into close proximity, Plume captures the encounter. Women view the profiles of the men they've crossed paths with — men can't see women at all — and reveal themselves only when they choose to. The app's live map shows Heat Plumes — concentrations of compatible people nearby — so users can see where social opportunity is forming in real life. Plume is female-founded and female-led. We are launching first on college campuses, because life happens there in a way it doesn't happen most places. The streets, gamedays, the bars, the bookstore, the gym. If our app works anywhere, it works there first. Plume's mission is to make real-life connection an actual option again, with safety and control built in by design. ABOUT THE ROLE Plume is hiring its first ambassadors on the ground on UF's campus. This is the founding campus for our collegiate launch this fall. If you're a junior, senior, or recent grad who knows this campus inside and out and wants real brand-building experience, keep reading. As a Plume Campus Ambassador, you'll be the face of Plume at UF — seeding the app across campus, building community around it, and being the eyes and ears on the ground for a brand that's just getting started. RESPONSIBILITIES Represent Plume across UF and spread the word in the spaces where student life actually happens — gamedays, the gym, campus events, coffee shops, parties, and beyond Recruit fellow students to download and use the app, growing Plume's presence across campus Create engaging content for Instagram and TikTok that authentically reflects Plume's brand and mission Host and activate at on-campus events and high-traffic social moments Share on-the-ground feedback and insights that help shape Plume's campus strategy Stay ahead of campus trends to keep Plume relevant and connected to what UF students actually care about WHO YOU ARE A current junior or senior at UF (or recent grad still in Gainesville) A natural connector — you know people, people know you, and you're genuinely excited about bringing them together Active and engaged on Instagram and TikTok with a strong sense of what resonates Experienced in campus organizing, student orgs, Greek life, or any environment where you've gotten people to show up Self-motivated and creative — you don't need a script to get things done Genuinely curious about how people meet and connect in real life PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working in a startup or early-stage environment Experience recruiting, hiring, or managing peers Background in marketing, communications, community building, or campus organizing Existing network across UF student communities Working knowledge of how UF operates behind the scenes — student orgs, event permitting, approvals, and the systems that turn ideas into actual on-campus activity Experience at a consumer brand or app launch COMPENSATION Hourly role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
