Software Engineer IIThe Software Engineer II is a mid-level role that is responsible for design and development of systems-level software and provides systems support by performing the following duties.Works directly with client to create engineering specificationsFlow chart program logic and document system designWork directly with database administrators and database analysts to develop and design database tables and store proceduresDebug system code, including code written by other programmersAssists with mentoring programmers to achieve a higher level of competencyContinuously maintains knowledge of new software technologies is requiredProvide support in deployment and configuration of softwareWorks closely with Project Manager to manage timelines for projectsResearches and resolves production issues in systemOther duties as assignedRequirementsMust have 5+ years' experience with C# .NET programming (Visual Studio 2005 or greater)Must have 2+ years' experience with ASP/ASP.NETMust be fluent JavaScript, VB, VBScript, HTMLMust have 2+ years with XMLMust have 2+ years development experience with Microsoft SQL ServerScrum Agile Methodology ExperienceTeam Foundation ServerUnit Testing / Test-Driven Development ExperienceBuild AutomationCustomer Relationship Management (CRM) Software knowledgeAutomotive Service Industry domain knowledgeCall Center Operations domain knowledgeMust be flexible and team-orientedMust be able to work independently and as a team memberMust have good written and oral communication skillsMay be required to work nights/weekends as needed
