Whether transporting students, or community members with disabilities , your expertise in driving and customer service will make a positive impact every day. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while providing essential services to the community in a lively, energetic environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate buses for various passenger groups, including school children, and individuals requiring specialized transportation
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure passenger safety at all times
- Communicate clearly with passengers using effective language skills
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and report any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of trips, & safety checks
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger questions and ensuring a positive experience during transit
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record & background check
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations related to bus operation
- 5 years driving experience (any vehicle)
- Experience working with children is highly desirable but not necessary ; patience and empathy are essential qualities
- basic knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections
