Location: Chesterfield, VA
Schedule: 4/10s (Fully Onsite; Hybrid may be negotiable for the right candidate)
Duration: Approximately August 1, 2026 - December 1, 2026 (Short-Term Contract)

We are seeking a Project Scheduler to support a capital manufacturing project in Chesterfield, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced scheduling team in a fast-paced project environment while working a 4/10 schedule.
Position Overview

The Project Scheduler will be responsible for maintaining and updating project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring schedule accuracy, supporting project reporting, and coordinating with project stakeholders. This role is focused on schedule maintenance and execution rather than earned value management or advanced resource loading.
Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in Primavera P6.
• Maintain and update approximately 9,000 schedule activities, with roughly 200 activities updated every two weeks.
• Perform schedule maintenance including activity logic, durations, and date updates.
• Generate and support bi-weekly customer schedule reports.
• Coordinate with project teams to gather schedule updates and ensure accurate project status.
• Work closely with a team of 3-4 schedulers, reporting directly to the Schedule Lead.
• Assist in maintaining schedule integrity throughout the life of the project.
• Support capital project execution through effective planning and schedule management.

Qualifications

• Senior-level scheduling experience supporting capital, greenfield, or manufacturing projects.
• Strong proficiency with Primavera P6 is required.
• Experience maintaining large, detailed project schedules.
• Ability to communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a scheduling team.

Preferred Experience

• Manufacturing or industrial capital project experience.
• Experience supporting large project schedules with regular reporting requirements.

• Overtime: Minimal; approximately 45 hours/week during busier periods
• Per Diem: Dependant on Candidate Eligability
