TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43221!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Chemotherapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required in outpatient clinic infusion License: Must have a valid state license in hand at the time of submission Certifications: BLS, Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) Must-Have: Experience in outpatient oncology and administration of chemotherapy Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for an outpatient clinic specializing in chemotherapy. Position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients. Nurses will manage a patient load of 6-7 patients per shift with a maximum of 3 patients at any given time. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, closed on weekends and holidays. The unit consists of 46 rooms and has a daily census of approximately 100 visits. Nurses will work with interdisciplinary support teams, including IV teams, pharmacy, and social services. Experience with the EPIC documentation system is required. Candidates must possess skills in administering chemotherapy, managing ports, and providing patient education and support. Travel experience is preferred. Candidates must be proactive and responsive during the credentialing process. Reference requirements include two professional references, with at least one from a supervisor or manager. This position does not require a COVID-19 vaccine, but the flu vaccine is mandatory with medical exemptions only.
