Shipping/Receiving ClerkASR is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk with a Secret clearance who is looking to advance their career.The Shipping/Receiving Clerk duties typically involve the following:Verifying that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documentsEnsuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehiclesTransporting and delivering materialPreparing and keeping records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of ladingOrganizing, sorting, and transferring goods from one location to anotherMonitoring company packages from the start to finish, ensuring proper packing techniques and shipping practicesProviding updated inventory records and compiling weekly or monthly reports for managementOverseeing and keeping records of all shipping and receiving materialsVerifying correctness of incoming/outgoing shipmentsRequirements:Navy military logistics experience is preferredUnderstanding and knowledge of Navy shipping and receiving documentsAbility to communicate effectively with personnel at all levelsAbility to work independently and with others equallyStrong verbal and written communications skillsMust be a US CitizenMust hold a valid driver's licenseSecurity Clearance Requirements: Candidate will require an active SECRET clearance. Physical Demands: Requires walking, lifting (50lbs), sitting, bending, standing and for extended periods of time.
