Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Travel- RN- Cath Lab Location: Houston, TX Address: 12141 Richmond Ave Floor: 1stfloor Shift Time: Start Time: 07:00 AM End Time: 07:00 PM Shift Type: Day Shift General Information Tell us about the unit(s): · Number of Beds – Cardiac Cath Lab (3 procedure Rooms) · Number of Staff – 9 · Type of staff: RNs and Cath Lab Techs o Day Shift – ( 1 supervisor, 3 RN, 2 Cath lab Techs) o Night Shift – On call staff only (2RNs and 1 Cath Lab Tech or 1 RN and 2 Cath Lab Techs) · Patient Ratios – Team consists of 3 team members for 1 patient procedure. · Type of equipment – Phillips and Siemens Floro equipment · EMR – MERGE Hemo - Cath Lab documentation system and Meditech Expanse Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. · BLS · ACLS Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. · Electrophysiology experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Left and right heart caths · Pacemaker/ICD, watchman · IR procedures · Vascular · EP Ablations (PFA) Best personality Fit: · Team player · Flexible REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: · BLS, ACLS Floating Area(s): · Pre/Post Cath Department Dress Code: · Scrub Color/Attire - Hospital provided - sky blue Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. · Procedural guidelines (universal precautions, timeout procedures, moderated sedation guidelines) Weekends and On call(if any) · One full weekend plus 2 weekdays for a total of 10 shifts per four-week schedule.
