Passionate Physical Therapist , to join our growing team. Collective Therapy is a small, local, and therapist-owned company that at its very core, values our patients, employees, and therapist partners. We’re seeking a full-time Physical Therapist with a strong orthopedic background (preferred) to provide one-on-one care to residents at Southminster, a well-established CCRC in South Charlotte. Our Setting: This setting gives you all the variety you want, with a mix of patients in independent & assisted living as well as bedside in a healthcare/inpatient settings. You get all the variety and growth you are looking for! This setting also gives you the opportunity to be a part of a team- a family of therapists which provides an opportunity to grow as a clinician as well as improve overall collaboration for patient care. Our ideal candidate has at least 1 year experience in adults/geriatrics, is reliable, has good communication skills, is empathetic and patient and can build a meaningful relationship with their client. Someone who can provide high quality personalized treatments in a one-on-one setting. A strong background in ortho is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination Consult and practice with other health professionals Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress Skills Proven work experience as a Physical Therapist High level of autonomy and independence Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities Current knowledge of treatment practices Drive to continually learn and grow Professional behavior Excellent interpersonal communication skills Valid license to practice physical therapy in NC Good documentation abilities and completion time Who are we?
