Survey Project Manager Hybrid Heavy Construction Focus

Are you a skilled Survey Professional ready to take ownership of complex, high-impact projects? Our client, a respected, forward-thinking firm specializing in land surveying and geospatial services in heavy construction, is seeking a Survey Project Manager (or strong Associate Project Manager ready for the next step) to join their growing team.

In this hybrid role, you’ll work 3 days in-office and 2 days remote, managing projects that demand precision, communication, and deep technical expertise. You’ll play a hands-on role performing and reviewing heavy construction layout calculations, coordinating with field crews, and ensuring deliverables meet rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee surveying projects from start to finish, with a focus on heavy construction layout.
• Perform complex survey calculations and review work for accuracy.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare and refine detailed drawings and surfaces.
• Collaborate closely with field crews, clients, and internal teams to maintain timelines and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in land surveying, including heavy construction layout.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Professional Licensure (PLS) or SIT on track toward licensure preferred, but not required.

Compensation:
