Job Title: Warehouse Worker (1st and 2nd shift)

Job Description

This role performs a variety of warehouse functions, including unloading and unpacking shipments, processing inbound materials, scanning and shelving parts, pulling customer orders, and entering data into a computerized inventory control system. The position focuses on accurate inventory handling and order fulfillment and may involve the use of barcode scanning equipment, but does not involve operating power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
• Unpack materials and verify contents against documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Perform inbound processing of parts and products, including labeling and organizing items for storage.
• Scan and shelve parts in designated locations using barcode scanning equipment when required.
• Pull and pick orders accurately according to pick lists or system instructions.
• Prepare items for packing and shipment, ensuring they are securely packaged.
• Use a computerized inventory control system to enter, update, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist with general warehouse labor tasks such as organizing stock, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting production-related activities.
• Load and unload items manually as needed, following safety guidelines.
• Support inventory control activities, including counting, verifying, and reconciling stock levels.
• Follow all site security procedures, including checking in bags at the security gate and returning any issued locks at the end of the shift.
• Collaborate with team members and follow supervisor instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.

Essential Skills

• Previous warehouse worker experience.
• Experience with inventory handling and basic inventory control processes.
• Ability to perform packing, picking, loading, unloading, and general warehouse labor.
• Familiarity with order picking and order fulfillment procedures.
• Ability to use an RF scanner or barcode scanning equipment for inventory and order processing.
• Basic computer skills to perform data entry into a computerized inventory control system.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy, active warehouse environment.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and inventory records.
• Physical ability to perform manual material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a production or high-volume warehouse environment.
• Comfort working around powered equipment such as forklifts, even if not operating them.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain orderly storage areas.
• Ability to follow established procedures and security protocols.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to support operational demands.

Work Environment

The role is based in a busy, temperature-controlled warehouse environment where forklifts and other equipment operate regularly. You will work on-site, performing hands-on tasks that involve frequent movement, standing, and manual handling of materials. The facility follows security procedures that require you to check in bags at the security gate and, if needed, check out a lock that must be returned after your shift. The workplace emphasizes safety, organization, and adherence to established warehouse and security protocols.

This is a Contract position based out of Eastvale, CA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
