ASCP Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician

MLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our client's reputable healthcare facility near Wharton, Texas!

Responsibilities for a Medical Laboratory Technician:

• Perform a range of laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and other diagnostic areas.
• Analyze and interpret test results to provide accurate and timely information for patient care.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Medical Laboratory Technician Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field required.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by a recognized agency (e.g., ASCP, AMT) is required.
