Job Description AI Claude Technical Lead Analyst / Project Manager Location: Philadelphia, PA (on-site preferred) | Consultants considered- no third party Industry: Technology – Infrastructure, Support + Engineering | Financial Services / Trading On behalf of our confidential client — a leading global trading firm — we are seeking an experienced Technical Lead Analyst / Project Manager to partner with core business teams, traders, technology managers, developers, and domain experts. You will drive and deliver high-impact business and technology initiatives across the full trading lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on leveraging advanced AI tools (including Anthropic’s Claude) to accelerate requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and delivery. Overview This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of trading operations and technology. You will define business requirements across front- and middle-office environments, evaluate and apply the most effective methodologies, and ensure initiatives are delivered to the needs of the business. A key differentiator for this role is hands-on expertise with modern AI platforms — particularly Claude — to enhance productivity in requirements elicitation, process mapping, documentation, stakeholder communication, and solution design. Responsibilities Represent Technology in cross-functional, global projects alongside Legal, Trading, Operations, Compliance, and Risk teams; engage external counterparties (exchanges, brokers, etc.) as needed. Define project scope and solutions; translate requirements into clear, actionable roadmaps and deliverables. Partner closely with stakeholders to maintain transparency and secure buy-in. Deliver concise, high-quality status reporting, dashboards, and meeting minutes. Lead end users and senior sponsors through business requirements definition for software development. Own the translation of business requirements into functional specifications, using AI tools (especially Claude) to accelerate drafting, refinement, and consistency. Coordinate technology teams to execute deliverables and keep projects on track. Drive prioritization and resource alignment for high-impact initiatives. Work hands-on with developers and testers to ensure requirements are met; support user reviews and UAT. Perform proactive risk management and maintain clear tracking of open issues. Apply AI-assisted techniques (Claude and similar platforms) to analyze complex systems, diagram processes/data flows, and produce high-quality documentation efficiently. Proven hands-on experience using AI platforms, with strong proficiency in Claude (Anthropic) for requirements analysis, documentation, process modeling, and accelerating BA/PM deliverables. Experience Required Minimum 6 years of combined project management and business analysis experience within Financial Services. Thorough understanding of operational trade flows (trade economics, platforms, venues/exchanges, operational, legal, compliance, and regulatory considerations) across at least two of: Exchange-traded Equities, ETFs, Options, or Futures. Proven track record delivering complex technology solutions in a trading environment, participating across requirements, design, QA, support, UAT, and production go-live. Strong leadership, planning, estimation, and risk-management skills; able to work independently. Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SQL, and relational databases. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); experience with Visio and Microsoft Project (or equivalents). Strong practical experience with AI tools, specifically Claude, applied to business analysis and project delivery in a professional setting. This is a high-visibility role supporting mission-critical trading technology initiatives.
