Fleet Project Manager

Job Title: Field Test Coordinator (Non-IT Project Manager)

Duration:6 months + potential to extend

Location: Columbus IN 47201

Pay Rate:$63.00 - $66.66 hourly on W2

Job Description:

As a Project Manager - Non IT IV, you'll be at the forefront of executing complex engine repower activities, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless delivery of critical milestones. This onsite position offers the opportunity to influence the future of vehicle technology by managing multi-stakeholder initiatives and hands-on site support, including domestic and Canadian travel.

Required Skills:

• Proven project management experience, including coordination and communication with diverse stakeholders
• Hands-on knowledge of engine repower activities and how engines integrate within chassis systems
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Capacity to operate independently, anticipate challenges, and deliver results under tight timelines

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with OEM engine systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in real-world, complex environments
• Familiarity with international stakeholder engagement
• Knowledge of engine mechanics and technical specification

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, or a related technical field
• Prior experience in automotive or equipment repower projects
• Demonstrated success in managing field validation or testing activities

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel domestically and to Canada as needed
• Capable of working flexible hours, including occasional after-hours engagement with international teams
• Self-starter with proactive mindset and ability to influence without direct authority
