Schedule

This position requires a commitment to 12-hour night shifts, specifically from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. The schedule may vary within this timeframe.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in an acute medical setting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in medical-surgical nursing, demonstrating a strong ability in patient assessment, care planning, and implementation of nursing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report any changes.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg nursing.
• Current AHA BLS certification is required.
• AHA ACLS certification is preferred.
• Valid RN license to practice in your state.
