What You’ll Be Doing

• Verizon Business Channel: Act as the marketing support person for the Verizon for Business channel, developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies for all products.
• Financial & Budget Management: Support the planning, execution, and reporting of Market Development Funds (MDF) and Sales Dollars (SD), ensuring alignment with strategic goals and maximizing return on investment (ROI). Manage invoicing and payment processes in coordination with finance.
• Go-To-Market (GTM) Excellence: Support the GTM process for all product launches across Verizon channels, ensuring launch readiness and confirming that all marketing and product assets are accurately represented on Verizon's digital platforms (e.g., VZ.com).
• Process Automation & Enhancement: Identify opportunities to streamline team operations and data collection through automation. Develop and implement tools, dashboards, and processes (leveraging AI and advanced analytics) to improve efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
• Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, marketing program effectiveness, and budget utilization. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key partner to internal teams including Sales, Product Management, and Finance, as well as external stakeholders at Verizon, to ensure seamless execution of all marketing and GTM initiatives.

Background, Experience & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 5-7+ years of experience in channel marketing, sales operations, go-to-market strategy, or financial analysis, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Experience in the telecommunications or consumer electronics industry is strongly preferred.
• Financial Acumen: Demonstrated experience with budget management, financial tracking (MDF, co-op, or similar), and ROI analysis.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong technical aptitude with a proven ability to learn and implement new software and tools. Advanced skills in MS Excel are required. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), analytics platforms, or basic scripting/AI tool development is highly desirable.
• Knowledge and familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) like SAP are preferred.
• Project Management: Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations (MS PowerPoint) and clearly articulate complex information to stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaborative Spirit: A proactive and independent contributor who also excels in a team environment, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships.
