Data Reporting Analyst

Job Description

The Data Analyst will support the company and operations teams by analyzing large data sets, building reports, reviewing financial and operational KPIs, and identifying opportunities to reduce margin erosion. This role will partner with field leadership, district managers, VPs, and internal finance stakeholders to interpret data and provide actionable insights. The ideal candidate will blend strong financial analysis skills with data tools experience, including Excel, SQL, Power BI, dashboard development, and ad hoc reporting. While the company would love someone who is both technically strong and financially analytical, financial analysis and the ability to manipulate large data sets are the top priorities.

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience preferred

• Strong financial analysis experience

• Ability to analyze KPIs, financial statements, and operational data

• Advanced Excel skills

• Pivot tables

• VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

• Ability to manipulate large data sets

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to partner with field leadership, district managers, VPs, and operations • SQL experience

• Power BI experience

• Dashboard creation

• Ad hoc reporting experience

• Python experience

• Experience linking data from multiple systems

• Experience with NetSuite or data pulled from ERP systems

• FP&A background

• Data engineering exposure

• Experience identifying margin erosion or operational improvement opportunities
