Employment Attorney

Location: Remote across California (offices in every major CA metropolitan) Salary: Up to $300K base + Bonuses Open to considering CA barred Attorneys residing in other states across the country Job Summary Our client is a preeminent Southern California law firm focusing exclusively on representing employers in labor and employment matters. With decades of experience, they counsel and defend management in all areas of employment law, delivering practical, strategic, and business-oriented legal solutions. Key Responsibilities Defend employers in employment litigation, including single-plaintiff, class action, and PAGA matters in state and federal courts Represent clients in administrative proceedings (e.g., DFEH/CRD, EEOC, DLSE) Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery Advise clients on day-to-day employment law issues including wage & hour, discipline, leave laws, and workplace policies Draft and revise employee handbooks, policies, and employment agreements Participate in mediations, depositions, and trial preparation Support partners and collaborate with the team on complex cases and client counseling Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active member in good standing with the California State Bar 2+ years of labor & employment defense experience (plaintiff-side experience will be considered if transitioning to defense) Experience with wage & hour litigation, PAGA claims, and discrimination/harassment cases Salary and Other Compensation The salary for this position is between $140,000 – $300,000 annually.
