Tax Senior

Overview: Guidepoint is seeking an experienced Tax Senior to own the day-to-day management of the company’s global tax function across a complex, multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction structure (US, Canada, UK, Greece, Dubai, and multiple APAC entities). As an expert-network business with significant intercompany activity and international operations, our tax obligations, transfer pricing, R&D/innovation credits, sales & use tax, VAT/GST, and international tax, have grown to require a dedicated owner. The Tax Senior will manage tax positions, compliance, and planning. Support finance leadership on the tax implications of business decisions operating with a high degree of independence under the direction of the Controller. This is a hybrid position out of our New York City office. What You’ll Do: Tax Strategy & Leadership Support and help execute the company’s global tax strategy, managing tax positions across all jurisdictions. Support leadership, provide the Controller, CFO, and finance leadership with analysis on the tax implications of new entities, new revenue streams, and business decisions. Monitor tax law at the federal, state, local, and international levels, and flag impacts on the organization. Maintain a global tax compliance calendar, ensuring all filing obligations are met on time and on budget. Support the year-end tax return process, own the year-end tax return requests. Book year-end tax provisions, work with the external global tax provision team at year-end during the audit to prepare and record the year-end tax provision numbers.
