Commercial Refrigeration Team Lead
$24–$27 Per Hour + Average $2.46 PIP Incentive, Temp-to-Hire
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Onsite, Columbus, Ohio 43207

What You'll Be Doing:

• Coordinate daily production activities, monitor workflows, track progress, and report updates to management
• Provide team members with guidance and support on assigned tasks and procedures
• Perform hands-on manufacturing tasks to meet daily production goals
• Communicate with purchasing, engineering, and other departments to support production operations
• Operate a forklift to move products into and out of the assigned work area as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing workspace
• Support additional manufacturing and operational tasks as needed

Who We're Looking For:

• MUST HAVE PRIOR REFRIGERATION EXPERIENCE (i.e. hands-on practical background in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing systems that control or lower temperatures)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in machining, metalworking, or related fields is a plus
• 3–5 years of related experience and/or training
• Advanced knowledge of shop machinery, manufacturing techniques, and quality control procedures
• Ability to operate a forklift and use basic hand and power tools
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Familiarity with inventory management and order entry systems, such as SyteLine and Factory Track
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16 of an inch and add and subtract fractions
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, provide team support, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining quality standards
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, vibration, odors, dust, and moving mechanical parts
• Ability to lift, move, push, or pull materials weighing up to 75 pounds individually on occasion, with team or mechanical assistance for heavier loads up to 100 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, use hands to handle materials and equipment, and communicate effectively throughout the workday
