Locum Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Lakewood, New Jersey | MondayFriday Schedule | Ongoing Assignment

Position Highlights:

• Ongoing locum assignment
• Monday-Friday schedule
• 7:30 AM-5:00 PM
• No call
• Outpatient setting
• Fast credentialing process
• Collaborative clinical team
• Approximately 20-25 patients per day

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-employment and return-to-work physical examinations
• Evaluate and manage occupational injuries
• Perform DOT and fit-for-duty examinations
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic imaging
• Provide workers' compensation evaluations and follow-up care
• Perform medical surveillance and exposure evaluations
• Complete substance testing and occupational health screenings
• Work collaboratively with physicians and advanced practice providers

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner
• Active New Jersey license
• DEA and CDS
• Current DOT Medical Examiner Certification
• Experience treating Workers' Compensation cases
• Occupational Medicine experience strongly preferred
