Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts | Day/Night Rotation | 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM Start Times | Expected 36 Hours/Week | Every 3rd Weekend As Needed | Every Other Holiday | On-Call: Once Per Schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technologist support across a 22-room OR department staffed 24/7, covering a broad range of surgical services including general, gynecology, GU, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine
• Demonstrate competency in at least 5 of the listed surgical service lines
• Support Level 1 trauma cases as required
• Maintain a positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent communication skills in a fast-paced surgical environment
• May float to other OR campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of inpatient surgical experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• NBSTSA certification required — no other surgical tech certification accepted
• BLS certification required
• Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be considered at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple specialty surgical services (e.g., robotics, cardiac, neuro, vascular, spine)
• Ability to adapt quickly across OR campuses and service lines
• Strong interpersonal and team communication skills in high-acuity environments
