Ben's Structural Fabrication Inc. seeks a Steel Model Checker to review and verify structural steel shop and erection drawings for commercial and residential projects across New England. You’ll check dimensions, connections, weld symbols, and member sizes for accuracy and compliance with contract documents, codes, and AISC/AWS standards. Working closely with detailers, project managers, fabricators, and field crews, you’ll flag discrepancies, coordinate revisions, and support safe, efficient fabrication and installation in a hands-on, team-oriented shop environment.
