Cloud Automation Security Engineer

Salary: $156,000 - 187,200 per year Requirements:

• 7–10 years of experience in cloud engineering or automation roles.
• Strong Terraform skills for Infrastructure as Code across AWS and Azure.
• Experience automating with Python and Ansible, including Ansible Playbooks and Tower.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and managed streaming services such as AWS MSK, Azure Event Hubs, and Kinesis Data Streams.
• Foundational Linux/UNIX scripting and systems knowledge.
• Understanding of cloud security fundamentals, including IAM and certificate management.
• Experience working with Agile practices and collaborative delivery teams.
• Preferred: Familiarity with messaging technologies such as MQ/IIB, Kafka, or Tibco; Java/J2EE exposure for integration and troubleshooting; and operational experience with Dynatrace or AppDynamics.

• Design, build, and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code for AWS and Azure.
• Develop Python and Ansible automation, including Playbooks and Tower, to support secure, repeatable deployments.
• Engineer and support managed streaming services, including AWS MSK, Azure Event Hubs, and Kinesis Data Streams.
• Create testing frameworks, resolve integration issues, and coordinate end-to-end delivery with application, engineering, security, and operations teams.
• Maintain compliance with enterprise standards, including ITAM, IAM, MRF, and GIS Security Baseline.
• Implement monitoring and observability using tools such as Dynatrace and AppDynamics.
• Support large-scale enterprise deployments across internal and external cloud environments.
