United Care Home Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and engaging caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a client with special needs in Escondido. This is an active companionship-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships, participating in community outings, and helping clients stay engaged in daily activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and supervision in a safe, supportive environment
• Assist with community outings, recreational activities, and social engagement
• Encourage participation in hobbies, exercise, and daily routines
• Provide reminders and light assistance with activities of daily living as needed
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping related to the client
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior
• Ensure the client's safety and well-being during activities and outings

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with individuals with special needs preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Comfortable around pets
• Ability to accompany the client on outings and participate in activities
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and meet all caregiver onboarding requirements

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
• Active California Home Care Aide registration
• Recent TB test or chest X-ray as required by law
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. with valid identification
