Summary BLUvera is currently seeking a Carpenter that will be responsible for the construction and repair of wood and wallboard fixtures in compliance with local building codes and general construction principals. Responsibilities Set up trailers Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine material requirements and measure dimensions Build decks, stairs, roofs, and other temporary structures; install shelves, setup tool trailers, silt fences, straw bales, and set up site per erosion control plan Hand‑set forms and assemble gang forms Assist journeyman and foreman with shooting grades and elevations Unload, handle, stockpile, and erect prefabricated materials Perform concrete and rough carpentry (hand set walls, footings, gang wall forms, structural concrete decks, drywall, finish carpentry, doors, frames, hardware, millwork, and cabinetry) Build relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels; perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED Minimum of two (2) years carpentry experience Trade or technical school certification/diploma preferred Ability to work with precision, visualize solid objects from drawings, and speak and understand English Strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, professional customer service skills, detail orientation, and effective communication including active listening and openness to diverse input and feedback Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs or pull over 50 lbs with assistance Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status A few benefits offered Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverage Dental plan 401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson match Paid time off, holidays, and other paid leaves Employer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insurance No-cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work‑life resources Tuition reimbursement Adoption assistance Gym membership discount program For CA, CO, WA, MN only: The base pay range for this role is $Min - $Max per hour. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
