Responsibilities

We are seeking reliable and motivated Distribution Center Machine Operators (Powered Industrial Trucks) to join our fast-paced automotive parts distribution team in Newark. We are specifically looking for operators with experience handling high-reach equipment to navigate our vertical inventory systems.


Key Responsibilities:
Specialized Equipment Operation: Safely operate Reach Forklifts and Cherry Pickers (Order Pickers) to move, stack, and retrieve materials at various heights.


Inventory Handling: Efficiently manage the receiving, picking, packing, and staging of automotive parts.


System Accuracy: Use RF scanners to track inventory and ensure all records are accurately entered into the computer system.


Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment to ensure team safety.


Requirements & Physical Demands Equipment Experience: Proven experience operating a Reach Truck and Cherry Picker is required.


Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.


Physical Ability: Must be comfortable working at heights and able to frequently lift and move heavy automotive parts.


Availability: Must be flexible to work weekends and overtime as business needs require.

Must be able to present a previous forklift certification

The essential functions of this role include:
