CNC Set-Up Machinist - Weekends

MultiSource Manufacturing is committed to delivering high-quality precision components through skilled craftsmanship, reliable manufacturing processes, and a dedication to meeting customer specifications. We're looking for a CNC Set-Up Machinist to join our team!

In this role, you'll set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components. You'll interpret technical drawings, adjust machine settings and tooling, and monitor machining operations to ensure parts meet quality standards and production requirements.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to specifications and production schedules.
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements.
Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to meet required tolerances.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC equipment as needed.
Conduct quality inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments.
Follow established safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous CNC machining experience.
Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines.
Strong understanding of machining processes and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in CNC machining or a related field.
Experience with CAD/CAM software.
Knowledge of quality control standards and practices.
