Trailer Mechanic

Job Description Job Description ***Inquire about other positions available*** Trailer Mechanics and Liftgate Technician needed in New Hampton, NY . Preferred experience: body work, brakes, ABS diagnostics, wiring, liftgates, welding, and fabricating Pay based on experience and overtime available, but not required Responsibilities: Repair trailers Perform routine vehicle maintenance Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer Qualifications: Having experience in welding, construction, fabrication or mechanics is a plus but not required. Knowledge of shop equipment a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills a plus previous work in a shop environment is a plus Additional Information: Day shift positions available for shop work and road service Overtime Available Apprentice to journeyman level positions available including transport refrigeration service and repair Looking for someone with mechanical, welding, and/or fabrication skills Willing to train Pay rate based on experience Medical Insurance, 401 K and paid time off available \nCompany Description North Jersey Trailer and Truck Service Inc. is a full-service trailer dealer serving the entire New Jersey and New York metropolitan area, including Long Island, we offer onsite repairs and maintenance as well as transport refrigeration service at your facility and at our two fully equipped shops.
