By centralizing these core functions for our key stakeholders, Treasury aims to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, increase yields on excess liquidity, and ensure disciplined, firm-wide risk management.For additional information, please visit Oaktree’s website at ResponsibilitiesThe AVP will oversee the day-to-day Global Treasury operation including payment operations, bank account management and bank online user administration for Oaktree’s funds and managed accounts. The AVP will manage and support team members with escalations and liaise with internal stakeholders and banking partners. This person will also collaborate with internal teams and the firm’s financial institutions on various initiatives to increase automation, improve processes and support implementations of technology-based solutions.Responsibilities include:Oversee end-to-end payment operations across domestic and cross-border transactions, ensuring accurate and timely settlement of high-value wire transfers, ACH batches, and intercompany flows while maintaining compliance with internal controls, banking agreements, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OFAC, FinCEN).Leading a team responsible for daily operations for global bank account onboarding, maintaining KYC and related bank signatories, and user provisioning in banking platforms across multiple internal teamsSupport and manage key modules for a future Treasury Management System implementationEvaluate current operational controls and procedures to identify opportunities for improved efficiencyEnhance and maintain bank account validation, including Standard Settlement Instructions with routine audits across internal systems to ensure accuracy and reliability of bank account dataReview or authorize repetitive payment templates; input payments within internal systems, bank portals and provide backup support as neededBank Relationship Management – act as a liaison between Oaktree and its financial institutions, ensuring the company’s service levels and financial needs are being metFacilitate and lead FBAR reviews and support documentation needed for annual filingsManage transformation projects including technology-enabled initiatives while clearly presenting ROI and efficienciesReview and evaluate KPIs across functions to help support business decisionsRollout and train users on system, features and/or enhancements which have an impact on existing processesBuild effective working relationships with internal and external teamsEscalation management with both internal and external stakeholdersPerforming various other tasks and projects as necessaryQualifications9 – 11 years of experience in Treasury and/or Cash Management Operations: Payments, Bank Account Management, Online Banking Administration, Capital Activity5+ years of management experience and proven success as a leaderKnowledge and understanding of various banking relationships, markets and account types including custody, DDA and Prime Brokerage preferred within investment managementProven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self-initiating other value-added tasksStrong analytical, business acumen and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams in the organizationStrong critical thinking, complex problem solving, and independent decision-making skillsExcellent verbal and written communication and strong presentation skillsKnowledge and experience of banking products and services (fraud prevention, payments, securities)Knowledge and experience in bank portals (user administration, payments, reporting)Knowledge and experience in payment processing and different methods of payment typesKnowledge of legal entity documentation and organizational structuresExperience with a TMSKnowledge of bank connectivity preferred (MT / MX SWIFT messaging)Experience in coaching team members to success and holding individuals accountable to achieve resultsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint/Teams or equivalent applicationsExperience in Bank Fee Analysis a plusExperience in PowerBI a plusCTP a plusPersonal AttributesDriving Results;
