This position is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from identifying potential candidates to onboarding new hires, ensuring a steady pipeline of skilled drivers. The Driver Recruiter collaborates closely with the operations team to understand staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies. Success in this role directly impacts the company’s ability to maintain efficient logistics and timely deliveries, which are essential for customer satisfaction and business growth. Ultimately, the Driver Recruiter contributes to building a strong, reliable workforce that supports the company’s long‑term transportation growth objectives. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong knowledge of driver qualification requirements and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software. Responsibilities: Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to attract qualified drivers across the Midwest regions in the United States. Process candidates through Tenstreet (ATS), (screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and assess candidates’ qualifications and driving records to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards) Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process, including background checks, drug screenings, and documentation verification. Maintain accurate recruitment records and provide regular reports on hiring metrics and candidate pipeline status to management. Stay informed about industry trends, labor market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting driver recruitment and retention. Skills: The Driver Recruiter (CDL) utilizes strong communication skills daily to engage with candidates and internal stakeholders effectively, ensuring clear and professional interactions. Analytical skills are essential for evaluating candidate qualifications and recruitment data to optimize hiring strategies. Proficiency with recruitment technologies, such as applicant tracking systems, enables efficient management of candidate pipelines and documentation. Additionally, knowledge of regulatory requirements ensures that all hires comply with safety and legal standards, maintaining the company’s operational integrity.
