Machine Operator Shift: 1st Shift

Monday Friday | 7:30 AM 3:30 PM Pay: Starting around $20.00/hour (higher pay may be considered for candidates with strong experience)

Position Overview: We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Production Associate to operate and learn our precision slitter machines. This is a long-term opportunity with a small, team-oriented company where employees build lasting careers. Previous slitter experience is not required. We provide complete on-the-job training and are more interested in finding someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a mechanical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and learn precision slitter machinery through on-the-job training
• Use a forklift to move coils and material throughout the facility
• Load and unload metal coils onto production equipment
• Set up slitter heads and assist with machine changeovers
• Lift and handle materials weighing 50+ pounds
• Read measurements and perform basic math as part of the production process
• Inspect materials and maintain quality standards
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all company safety procedures

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required
• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong basic math skills
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds throughout the shift
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
• Automotive, mechanical, maintenance, or other hands-on backgrounds are encouraged to apply
