Diesel Mechanic @ Coastal Pump and Equipment

Heavy Duty Equipment Technician
This role is focused on maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide variety of heavy-duty equipment, including diesel generators, transfer pumps, air compressors, and other engine-driven systems. This is not just a shop jobit's a critical field-facing role that helps ensure our equipment performs in high-stakes environments. Applicants must come equipped with their own tools and be prepared to work independently or with a team under tight deadlines.
5+ years of experience working on diesel engines, generators, or heavy equipment
Must provide own tools
Deep knowledge of industrial power units, pump drives, and fuel systems
Proficient with diagnostics tools, schematics, and basic wiring
Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment
Reliable transportation to and from the yard; CDL a plus
Water transfer, generator, and air compressor experience preferred
Light Travel & Driving Required
