Patent Agent or Attorney

Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP is seeking a Patent Attorney or Agent with a minimum of three years of experience in patent prosecution. Responsibilities Draft, file and prosecute U.S. patent applications. Manage and coordinate international patent application strategies. Prepare patentability, non‑infringement, and invalidity opinions. Provide overall intellectual property counseling. Qualifications Admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction where applying and in good standing. Registered and in good standing to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Undergraduate degree, preferably with an advanced degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field. At least three years of experience practicing patent law, with proven ability to draft and prosecute patent applications. Excellent written and oral communication, judgment, and self‑starter ability to prioritize and manage workload. Ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex matters.
