We are looking for a Transportation and Logistics Coordinator to help support that mission. JOB SUMMARY The Transportation & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing all transportation activities related to rental and sales equipment across the company. This role focuses on securing the most cost-effective freight solutions, coordinating equipment transfers, ensuring accurate billing, maximizing freight recovery from customers, and improving transportation efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate all inbound and outbound transportation for rental and sales equipment. Schedule equipment deliveries, pickups, and branch transfers. Manage relationships with carriers, brokers, and transportation vendors. Obtain competitive freight quotes and negotiate rates. Coordinate transfers between company locations. Ensure all equipment movements are documented and authorized. Verify equipment readiness before shipment. Ensure all freight charges are properly coded and billed. Review transportation invoices for accuracy. Maximize recovery of customer-billable freight expenses. Develop and maintain transportation KPIs and reporting. Identify and implement process improvements. Experience negotiating freight rates and managing transportation vendors. Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Strong analytical and cost-management abilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Strong attention to details and diligent follow-through Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite WORK CONDITIONS Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs.
