Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, and neurological conditions.
• Administer and titrate intravenous medications including Cardizem and beta blockers.
• Maintain patient records using EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with charge nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Work with patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:4-5 for quality care delivery.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in Nebraska.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Progressive Care or similar acute care settings.
• Fingernail policy compliance: No artificial nails in patient care areas.
• Driver's license required to validate distance rule compliance.
