Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active COTA certification and state licensure required
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Knowledge of educational/healthcare -based COTA practices
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Support occupational therapy services under the guidance of a licensed OT
- Carry out student treatment plans, focusing on developmentally appropriate interventions
- Collect data and document student progress
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families for best student outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and student assessments as needed
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
