A caregiver in this position works days Monday – Friday from 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. with the ability to travel locally in Northeast Ohio as needed. Responsibilities Assist with installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, analyzing and/or maintaining Building Automation Systems, remote connections and system malfunctions. Respond to alarms and alerts. Ensure safe and effective operations and working environments. Monitor all critical temperature and humidity devices, such as meters and gauges. Assist with inspecting and calibrating devices. Assist other caregivers with inventory. Record for sensor and control devices related to digital and pneumatic systems. Work at other Cleveland Clinic locations as needed. Minimum qualifications A high school diploma or GED. One year of exposure and demonstrated understanding of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) or building automation systems (BAS). Strong customer service background. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Physical requirements Typical physical demands require full body motion including ability to perform work while bending, stooping, stretching and climbing ladders. Requires dexterity and strength sufficient to operate required tools and machinery. Typically required to lift and carry machinery and/or equipment weighing 25 to 100 lbs. and/or assist with lifting weights exceeding 100 lbs. Requires color acuity sufficient to distinguish color-coded signage and systems. Personal Protective Equipment Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay Pay Range: Minimum hourly $17.25; Maximum hourly $26.31. The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education.
