Warehouse Worker

This role involves performing a variety of warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, sorting, inventory control, and using handheld scanners in a fast-paced environment. You will support emergency order fulfillment, stock local dealership orders, and move between different duties as needed within a small, collaborative team. This is not a forklift position; instead, you will operate a Taylor Dunn cart to move materials throughout the warehouse.

• Perform order picking and packing accurately and efficiently to support daily and emergency orders.
• Use RF scanners and computers to locate, pick, scan, and track inventory and orders.
• Sort, stock, and replenish inventory, including stocking for local dealerships.
• Operate a Taylor Dunn cart safely to move materials and orders throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload products and materials manually and with basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Use ladders safely when needed to access items stored on upper shelves.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with warehouse safety and quality standards.
• Move between different warehouse tasks and work areas as needed to support a smaller crew environment.
• Walk extensively throughout the shift, often exceeding 10,000 steps per day, to complete warehouse activities.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality guidelines, reporting any hazards or issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity and accuracy goals in a fast-paced setting.

• At least 3+ months of order picking or general warehouse experience.
• Experience with picking, packing, stocking, and general warehouse duties.
• Ability to use RF scanners and basic computer systems to process orders and manage inventory.
• Capability to walk 10,000+ steps per day and perform physically active work throughout the shift.
• Comfort with operating basic warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and similar tools.
• Ability to safely use ladders to access items stored at height.
• Strong work history demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and consistent performance.
• Proactive, go-getter attitude with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to support different tasks and areas within the warehouse as needed.

• Comfort operating a Taylor Dunn cart or similar warehouse transport equipment.
• General labor experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Tech-savvy mindset with the ability to quickly learn new systems and scanning tools.
• Openness to entry-level training for candidates with good work history and strong motivation.
• Availability for part-time schedules or seasonal work, such as summer employment during school breaks.

The warehouse spans approximately 100,000 square feet and is clean, organized, and safety-focused. The facility is heat-controlled but not air conditioned; numerous ceiling fans help maintain a generally comfortable environment. Safety is the top priority, followed closely by quality, and the operation runs with about 10 people on each shift, creating a close-knit team atmosphere. The role is on the 2nd shift, typically from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with paid breaks and some overtime but no weekend work. The position involves extensive walking, regular use of RF scanners and computers, operation of a Taylor Dunn cart and pallet jacks, and occasional ladder use. Typical attire is practical warehouse clothing suitable for an active, industrial setting where safety and mobility are essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
