Audit Manager

Location: Chandler or Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid)

We are partnered with a highly respected mid‑sized CPA firm in the Phoenix metro area , with offices in Chandler and Scottsdale . The firm is seeking a full‑time Audit Manager who values collaboration, enjoys building client relationships, and wants to grow within a people‑first, team‑oriented environment .

The Role

As an Audit Manager , you will lead and manage multiple audit and review engagements while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. You will play a key role in supervising teams, maintaining high technical standards, and supporting business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and plan audit and review engagements from start to finish
Apply advanced knowledge of GAAP and GAAS to resolve complex accounting and audit issues
Serve as the primary client contact and build long‑term client relationships
Coordinate services across client groups to deliver exceptional client experiences
Supervise, train, and mentor Seniors and Supervisors
Review workpapers and financial statements for quality and accuracy
Participate in networking and business development activities
Support firm growth through referrals and client expansion
Primarily local travel within the Phoenix metro area

What Our Client Is Looking For

5–9 years of public accounting audit experience
Active CPA license required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Prior experience managing multiple engagements simultaneously
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
Professional, dependable, and client‑focused mindset
Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
Experience with audit engagement software a plus
