Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Travel RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specializing in IMC/Stepdown to provide exceptional patient care. The nurse will work in a state-of-the-art unit with a collaborative team environment, handling diverse medical cases and post-surgical recoveries.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient conditions using telemetry and post-op observation equipment.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Meditech EMR.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to patient emergencies, including cardiac drips and respiratory issues.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with unit policies and safety procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license and current BLS & ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care hospital PCU/IMC experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated proficiency with Meditech electronic medical records.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication and teamwork skills with a friendly, outgoing personality.
  
  
• 
  Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• 
  Experience with cardiac patient monitoring and post-operative recovery.
