Shipping Coordinator
We're seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join a respected aerospace manufacturing company. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating shipments, working with carriers, and ensuring products are delivered accurately and on time.

What You'll Do
- Coordinate domestic and international outbound shipments
- Schedule freight with carriers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers
- Prepare bills of lading, invoices, export documents, and shipping paperwork
- Process shipments using UPS, FedEx, and other carrier systems
- Verify packaging, labeling, and shipment accuracy
- Track shipments and resolve delivery delays, damages, or discrepancies
- File and manage freight claims from start to resolution
- Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and materials
- Communicate with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure on-time deliveries
- Ensure compliance with ITAR and all applicable shipping regulations
What We're Looking For
- 12 years of shipping, logistics, or supply chain experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience using UPS and FedEx shipping systems
- Basic math skills and strong accuracy
- Ability to read and write in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with international shipping and export documentation
- Knowledge of ITAR or regulated manufacturing environments
- Forklift or side-loader certification
