Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing prescription medication, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service. This role plays a vital part in ensuring safe and efficient pharmacy operations.
Requirements:

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.

Enter prescription and patient information into the pharmacy system.

Measure, count, and label medications according to prescription orders.

Maintain proper storage and security of drugs.

Communicate with insurance providers for billing and authorization.

Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries professionally.

Manage inventory, restock shelves, and check for expired medications.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Comply with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
