Responsibilities: As a Junior Estimator, your role will be multi-faceted, providing you with an opportunity to showcase your diverse skills. Your responsibilities will include: 1. Preparing detailed cost estimates for healthcare construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other related costs. 2. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates. 3. Reviewing design documents to identify potential cost implications and suggest cost-saving alternatives. 4. Participating in bid proposal meetings, providing insight into cost estimates and potential project risks. 5. Conducting post-project reviews to evaluate cost accuracy and identify areas for improvement in future estimates. 6. Keeping abreast of industry trends and advancements in healthcare construction to ensure estimates are up-to-date and competitive. Qualifications: To be considered for this exciting role, you need to meet the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in healthcare construction. 2. Demonstrated experience in preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects. 3. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs. 4. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical documents. 5. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain cost estimates to stakeholders. 6. Proficiency in using estimating software and other relevant technological tools. 7.
