Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide care on a general medical/surgical floor, including post-operative patients requiring overnight stays.
• Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry observation throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN state license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of previous RN experience required.
• At least 1 completed travel contract required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Taxable address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Must not have been employed at the facility within the last 12 months.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered.
