• Number of Beds - 45
• Number of Staff – 90
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 1 charge, 9-10 RNs, 4-5 MSTs
  • Night Shift – 1 charge, 9-10 RNS, 4-5 MSTs
• Patient Ratios – 4-5 Days/Nights
• Type of equipment – Lifts, dynamap, cardiac monitoring equipment
• EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role: 

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PCU experience
• BLS & ACLS

Preferred or nice to have : Candidates with these skills will be considered first:

• Cardiac and ICU experience
• Prior Meditech experience
• NIH

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): 

• Cardiac drips and cardiac catheters
• Chest tube management, wound care and TPN/lipids

• Positive attitude towards staff and providers
